Native Americans in Arizona

Chapter 4

Arizona's history is rich with the lives of Native Americans. They have lived here for a very long time. Each group has its own language, land and special way of living.

Today more Native Americans live in Arizona than in any other state. They live in cities and towns. Many also live on land called reservations. These lands have been set aside for them by the government of the United States.
