My Life Cycle |
I undergo complete metamorphosis and go through four different life stages.
Larva - Then I become a larva (caterpillar) and hatch from the egg. I eat leaves or flowers almost constantly. As a caterpillar I molt (lose my old skin) many times as I grow.
Pupa - Then I turn into a pupa (chrysalis); this is where I get lots of rest.
Adult - Finally I emerge as a beautiful, flying adult. I do not grow during this stage. As an adult I will continue the cycle and reproduce
