Your Journey is about to begin.

You have been chosen to head a Team of Explorers who will embark on an expedition to the State of Arizona. As you and your Team begin your travels you will need to assemble some items that you will need along the way. First you will need to read your Explorer Journal. This Journal will be available by clicking on the clipboard icon in each area that you travel. As you go through each chapter, you will need to click on the corresponding chapter in your journal. Here you can complete the activities for each unit.

Your Team will need to determine who will be the Captain of your Exploration Team. You may do this by electing a person or by volunteering for the position. The Captain of the Team will be responsible for directing the exploration. He will be responsible for assisting each of the other members in completing their assignments.

Your Team will also need a Guide. The Guide is responsible for navigating your journey and making sure that you explore the entire site. The Guide will also assist in making sure that the time line is followed for completing your Journey.

Next your Team will need a Researcher. This person will be responsible for exploring resources and locating information to answer questions that may arise along the journey.

Finally, your Team will need a Communications specialist. This person will be responsible for communicating with all Team members and the Instructor. The Communications Specialist will also be responsible for seeing that all projects are completed.
