A spider must shed its exoskeloton to grow

The female spider lays her eggs on a silken sheet, and then covers them with layers of silk.

Some male spiders may pluck the female's spider web to attract her interest. Some male spiders may even do a dance!

At maturity, a spider is sexually mature and able to reproduce. Most spiders then stop molting

Baby spiders or spiderlings hatch from the egg sac.
