» About TJ-BRS:
I ain't no World Class Bull Rider. And I do not have corporate sponsorships.
However, I have ridden bulls in High School, College, and on through the
Indian Pro Association, the PBR, and PRCA. My riding percentage was well
enough to qualify me into several top 15 finals. I have since hung up the
"Gut-Hooks."
Today I help young athletes improve their riding ablities at my bull riding
schools. Not only do we emphasize basics but also create an ambiance
of mental well-being among each student.
Together these two concepts fuel the essential element of being a professional bull rider.
As we all know, the basics can get away from anyone; even the Champion will sometimes struggle with the fundamentals.
The great Lane Frost had to deviate from the basics to get Red Rock rode. Not only did Lane
get RR rode but had to work with Gary Leffew for months to bring back his basics.
In addition to instructing basics and mental well-being we also cover equipment, get-offs, ground
work, and judges perspective. |
