During the Spring 2005 semester, Gamma Pi Kappa established its official national philanthropy- Cardiovascular Disease, through the American Heart Association. We hope to be collecting donations through philanthropic events in the future. Our philanthropy will be a great addition to the sorority so, plan to see Gamma Pi's around campus in the future!

Go Red For Women is the American Heart Association's nationwide campaign to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease in women, their No. 1 killer, and give them the knowledge and motivation to take charge of their health.
Be sure to show your support and wear red on February 3rd, National Wear Red Day for Women!

Cardiovascular disease claims more women's lives than the next seven causes of death combined — about 500,000 women's lives a year.
