Lady Keina Vis

What, you might ask, does Vis mean. It does have a meaning… something to do with life and vigor and things of that sort. However, Vis is not really my last name. What most people (unobservant as modern society is) don’t realize is that there is an invisible ‘t’ in my name and the ‘s’ is pronounced as a ‘z.’. Thus, Keina Vitz is the proper way to address me. Vitz means absolutely nothing, but I answer to it just as well as Keina (unless you happen to be a Girl-Scout between the ages of 8 and 17.)

If you were to ask how many of me it would take to change a light bulb I would say, “Zero. The light bulb would change itself out of a desire to please me.” Now, upon reading this statement you might immediately assume that I am conceited. I would have to correct that assumption quickly and explain to you, no, my ego is non-existent. Light bulbs are just very easy to flatter.

For those of you who have found my observations abrasive while reading all the biographies for the various club officers and wish to beat me up now, I would have to warn you that I am versed in the art of rapier, I am nearly impossible to break (I just bend… no, I’m serious) and I also currently live in Wales. (no no, this has nothing to do with Pinocchio… I’m talking about the country in the UK.) So good luck.

Right now, the thing I do more often than anything else is move the little arrow on my door between the stick figures depicting “here, out, campus, abroad and asleep” so that my flat mates know where I am. (yes yes, I know. There was a time when email would have won this contest easily but *sniffle… all good things must come to an end *sob… like free internet. *WAIL
