The goal of NAU's College Rodeo Program is to establish and maintain interest of rodeo to NAU students by promoting rodeo as
an organized intercollegiate sport through rodeo related activities and community involvement. The program will also encourage
young rodeo athletes to compete at the intercollegiate level while developing skills and knowledge to move onto professional
rodeo circuits. In addition, the NAU Rodeo Program encourages members to promote community involvement by volunteering and
participating in any community activities in and out of the arena.
NAU competes in the Grand Canyon Region, a region that has been recognized as one of the toughest competitive regions in
collegiate rodeo. Our rodeo team holds all interest in recruiting students who are, or may want to compete in college rodeos.
