Membership Guidelines
Undergraduate Students:
Completion of at least 3 Semesters or 5 Quarters of college course.
Completion of 9 Semester Hours or 4 Quarter Hours of Psychology.
Must rank in the Upper 35% of your class in general scholarship. You must also demonstrate superior scholarship in psychology, earning a Minimum GPA of 3.0, in Psychology courses.
For Spring 2007, the top 35% at NAU means:
Sophomores with GPA of 3.2 or above.
Juniors with GPA of 3.3 or above.
Seniors with GPA of 3.4 or above.
Graduate Students:
Average grade of 'B' or better in All Graduate Courses, including Psychology
For All Students:
Registration for major or minor standing in psychology or for a program psychological in nature.
High standards or personal behavior.
Psychology Club
Open to All Students with an interest in Psychology whether you are a psychology major/minor or not. There is an application that you must fill out, but it is more for our records, than anything else. There is also a one-time membership fee of $15 which pays for your initiation and psychology club t-shirt.
Psychology Club Members can participate in all Psi Chi events and meetings and are open to run for chair positions.
