Is this related to the Bermuda Triangle myth?

The myth of the Bermuda Triangle included disappearances of ships and airplanes that were inexplicable.
For a while, people thought that a possible explanation for the Bermuda Triangle disappearances was due to a loss of gas from gas hydrates.
Not only is there a lack of scientific evidence to support the Bermuda Triangle myth, but there is also a lack of political evidence. It has been found that governments have not noted any trends of more ships than normal sinking in the Bermuda Triangle region.
Therefore, it can be said that the Bermuda Triangle myth is just that, a myth. (USGS)
