Why I am a Kayette: I was searching for a way to become more involved on the NAU campus and when I heard about Kayettes I thought, what a better way to do so! After learning about all the wonderful community service activities the girls participate in I was at once greatly intrigued. I love helping my community because it gives me such a great sense of accomplishment. Then, I realized, that Kayettes would be a great way to make new friends and form bonds. I very much enjoy meeting new people! I could not be more excited to be a part of such a fabulous group of girls.

Interests: I love watching movies, eating food (good food!), and hanging out with my friends. They are such a riot! We laugh all the time when we are together. I also really enjoy dancing and singing and it really does not matter where the dancing/singing commences: in my room, in the Hot Spot, while walking downtown, in classrooms…the list goes on and on. And traveling. Traveling is beautiful and I plan to travel an insane amount when I get older and have more money!

Why I'm a Kayette: I love giving back to the community and helping others reach their goals in life. Starting Freshman year I was looking for a way to become more involved in the Flagstaff community, which is exactly what Kayettes has done for me. Kayettes is a great group of girls who keep me centered, motivated, and are always bringing in new ways to give back to our community.

Interests: I love working out, getting outdoors, and trying new things. I absolutely love traveling! I have seen a chunk of the world, but would like to see it all. I am an avid runner, I have a hard time functioning if I don't get in a half hour run every day (my roommate can even tell if I haven't run, scary). Peanut butter and coffee are my main food groups and I couldn't get through school without them.

Why I'm a Kayette: I'm a Kayette because I love doing community service. I participated in four community service clubs in high school and was looking for something similar in college. I tried several other clubs around campus but my interest was sparked after seeing the Kayettes host the Mr. Lumberjack pageant. I saw what a great time these girls where having while clearly being involved on campus. I am honored to have been chosen to be a member of Kayettes. This group of girls includes some of the most caring, down to earth, fun loving people I have ever known. They are amazing! Not only are we involved on campus, around the community, but we have an amazing time and make great friendships that will last forever in the process.

Interests: Laughing, swimming, traveling, friends, family, boyfriend, having fun, reading, listening to music, AND OF COURSE Community Service.
