Mr. Lumberjack Pageant
an NAU Homecoming tradition
Thursday, Oct. 22, 6 p.m. Hill Top Field Homecoming week at NAU is an excitement-packed time for students to show their school spirit, and Kayettes' annual Mr. Lumberjack Pageant is one of the longest-standing homecoming traditions. For 40 years, NAU students have been competing in this mock pageant to show their Homecoming pride. The winner receives an impressive prize package including a variety of gift certificates from local businesses, and also rides with the Kayettes in the Homecoming parade. Contestants compete in the talent, arms, and question-and-answer segments, and are judged by a panel of staff and students from across campus. All are welcome at this free event. Come and cheer on your favorite contestant. Or better yet, if you think you'd make a great Mr. Lumbejack, download your application by clicking here. Complete the form and submit it to the ASNAU Office in the University Union by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009.
