•The February 24th trip to Horseshoe Mesa in Grand Canyon National Park was a good time for all who came. The view from the end of the mesa of the canyon's inner gorge was spectacular. And the once in a lifetime opportunity to ride through a mine in a real working 100 year old mining car made the steep hike so rewarding. The hiking Club had neglected the Grand Canyon in recent times, but this trip was a triumphant return and hopefully a precursor to more extended canyon trips.
