Moab Utah

Moab is one of the most well known 4x4 spots in the US. It also has a famous bike trail called slick rock. This is a phat trail that covers 13 miles on slickrock. The trial is painted on the rock with white dashed lines. The slickock campground is the best place to stay if you are going to camp here. But beware that teh higher spots need four wheel drive to keep from getting stuck in the sand. There are spots lower on the hill to the left as you go in that you can get in with a regular car. It only costs $6 to stay at this campground. There are shopwers at the bottom of the hill at the lions back campground but I have never used them. Slickrock is a primitive campsite, there is no running water but they do have pit toilets with no roof on the building. It's pretty cool at night to look up at the stars. There are full services in Moab. It is a regular town with gear shops,m fast food, and gas. Arches National Park is really close. I would recommend staying at Slickrock campground if you are going to Arches because it is only 10 minutes away and the campground is cheaper here.
