Sterling Pass Good hike from Oak Creek Canyon, over a pass and down into a canyon in the Dry Creek drainage. Nice views along the way. Once down the other side you eventually come to a trail sign pointing the way to Vultee Arch. A short walk brings you to some nice slickrocks and a view of Vultee Arch - a small span, but pretty, and the view down the valley is nice too. This is a much more interesting route to the arch than the Vultee Arch trail. |
