Secret Canyon This is a fun canyon that is a ways back on a dirt road, but all regular cars can make it fine. This hike starts out in the sandstone and moves into the forest. There is a creek that runs through the canyon for water but don't count on it always running. The first part of this hike has great views and lots of little side washes that you can explore or just wander off to sit. The canyon walls are big at the beginning but get shorter as you go up farther into the forest. Some people will do this as an easy overnight hike when the water is running. |
