Bear Sign

Pleasant hike with possibilities for backcountry exploration. From end of Dry Creek Road, ~1 mile past Secret Canyon trail, cross Dry Creek and follow Bear Sign trail up Bear Sign canyon. After a pleasant few miles, David Miller trail branches left and connects to Secret Canyon trail, making a very scenic and easy 6-mile loop. The trail peters out in a forested basin at the foot of the Mogollon Rim... from here you can bushwack up the canyon to the rim, or head cross-country over several passes into the Dry Creek canyon, and head back making a loop. This is serious bushwacking, but way fun.
