Bear Mountain Great Hike! From trailhead follow new trail toward the massive red-rock mountain in front of you. Hike is several long flat stretches broken by very steep and eroded sections, including a great little climb up white slickrocks dotted with pine trees. Great views most of the way. The best part is right on top of the white slickrock section, before the final climb to the top. The top is really brushy, but you can cross over and look into another valley on the other side. |
