These are some of the guide books that are offered for the local area. These are books that have been used by hiking club individuals are are rated on a five star scale. 	Book: Fat Tire Author: Cosmic Ray Edition: (2000) Area: Mountain Biking (Flagstaff, Sedona, Tucson, Phoenix, etc.) Review: This book is extremely helpful in finding rides in the Flagstaff and Sedona areas. The rides are easy to read and the book is full of good info. The book is for biking but the trails inside are also for hiking. Price: $9.95 Rating:
	Book: Sedona Hikes Author: Richard & Sherry Mangum Edition: Sixth (2001) Area: Sedona Hiking Guide (day hikes) Review: This book is well put together. This is one of the most popular guides to Sedona. It has great info and lots of hikes in it. It does overlap a lot with the hikes listed on the area map, but this book gives good directions for getting to the trailheads. It is also easy to read and find hikes with. Price: $15.95 Rating:
	Book: Rock Climbing Arizona (A Falcon Guide) Author: Stewart M. Green Edition: (1999) Area: Climbing (Major areas of Arizona) Review: This book is really helpful. It has easy to read maps of the climbs with good trailhead directions. It doesn't include all areas because it's a broad level book. Not very useful for Sedona and some local Flagstaff areas. Does have good guides for Prescott, Flagstaff, Jacks Canyon, etc. Price: $23.95 Rating:
	Book: Canyoneering Arizona Author: Tyler Williams, Lisa Gelczis Edition: (2001) Area: Arizona Canyoneering/hiking Review: This book is used widely by club members. It has lots of really cool hikes and canyons listed in it. It is easy to use book that is loaded with useful information and well written by the author. Price: $18.95 Rating:
