Put the fun between your legs.

A new year!

Well hello there! I realize this website hasn’t been updated since about this time last year, but that is going to change. Yes indeed. There have been rumors going around there will be a downhill race on the first saturday of October this year. 12 hours of Oldham (really about 5 minutes)

Other news? We will be having group CX rides hopefully every Sunday starting around 11pm. Meeting place to be determine.

Furthermore! Every monday at 5:30 PM we will be playing BIKE POLO on the field behind Sechrist/Reilly halls. Attendance is mandatory. Well, not really, but it’s super fun so you might as well show.

TRAIL DAY THIS SATURDAY. WORKING ON LITTLE BEAR check out Flag Biking for more infos

Welcome back ride?

Well, I know it’s sad to think about, but school is indeed starting again soon.

Some news from the Summer: I separated my shoulder on a moto accident, the doctor said to wait 6 weeks. 2 weeks later Dave and I went to Cruiser Nation on the Fourth of July and ran into Tim, Shawn, and Shawna there. That was quite a ride, but I should have ran at the start and dodged the rock throwers instead of walking and losing the race. Here’s a picture of Tim there.

The riding this last month has amazing too. The rains came and made the trails sticky and fantacular

So anyway, I was thinking we should do some sort of welcome back ride. Road, mountain, alley cat.. tricycle? Who knows? There should be a BBQ also… for real.

School’s out for summer

First of all, sorry I haven’t updated this mamajama in a while. I logged in and there were 64 comments.. all spam. That’s sad.

We had a relay race before finals, and I must say that there was one seriously stacked team. Kevin riding XC and Keith riding road? I know the teams were random but.. what a blowout. Besides, there was an egg fight at the start of downhillers section, so theirs was the only team to finish with ANY eggs at all. Oh well, at least the barbecue was bitchin’. Rose put some pictures on facebook which I will now put here, because I’m like that. Thanks Rose.
BBQ!

It seems like everyone left, which sucks, no more group rides. As for me, I’ve been riding Wasabi on the rigid 69er, and that’s no lie. I’m a broke guy with a weird bike addicted to downhill riding. If I’m lucky enough to catch a ride to the top I can get in a few rides. Might try some other trails, but the guys I rode up with yesterday advised against Private. Also, I guess you don’t know the meaning of Rocky Ridge until you ride it rigid. Who the hell thought that was a good idea?

If anyone is left in town and is reading this. There are a few trail days coming up. On the 19th we’ll be working on Upper Moto, and on June 2nd there is a National Trail day where we will work on a portion of the Arizona Trail near snowbowl. If you need more information visit Flagstaff Biking dot Org. And, If you want to ride or something contact me on Facebook, or e-mail, or whatever, I’ll be up for it. That’s all for now.

The meeting this week.

Yo yo
I think we might be playing bike capture-the-flag this Wednesday, so please come out at join in. Bring your friends, bring your dog, bring your grandma.

Location details to come later.

Also, who’s staying in town for spring-break? A friend and I might try to do some MTB camping, so if anyone wants to come along feel free.

Shawna has sent in a few photos for your viewing pleasure. They are under the “Misc. Photos” section in the gallery.

This one is probably especially flattering. That could very well be a booger. Ewww.
Booger!
