To collect samples, we gently scraped the bottom of the site using a Z -shaped, back and forth motion in water approximately 7cm -14cm deep. The material collected was then checked carefully for small macro invertebrates. The specimens were then placed in the discover scope veiwing chamber. After close observation, the organisms were identified and cataloged for the specific site.
