Dana - NAU Student Web Server

Welcome to Northern Arizona University's Web Server "Dana", a LINUX machine for students. NAU is a comprehensive public university emphasizing undergraduate education, and is one of the three campuses of the Arizona University system.

About Dana

Dana is currently running on a virtualized Red Hat Enterprise Linux server. It is maintained by the ACAD-SCAN group at Northern Arizona University's Information Technology Services department.

Dana's mission is to provide web space and file storage for NAU's students or student clubs and organizations in a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) open source Web stack development environment. We currently offer 500 MB disk quotas.

Personal Student Web Sites

Students may create a web site on Dana by following the instructions on the ITS Dana File Storage And Web Hosting page.

NAU Student Clubs and Organizations

For an NAU Club or Organization web site on Dana, the Faculty or Staff adviser must submit a ServiceNow ticket or call the ITS Solution Center at 928-523-1511. Include any pertinent information and the ITS Solution Center will contact the adviser to discuss the available options.
